Detailed Information
Ever feel like your flight controller is on a constant diet of power, yet never quite satisfied? Finding a reliable source of power, while keeping tabs on your current consumption and battery voltage, is like having your cake and eating it too. But in the high skies, there’s no room for half-baked solutions.
Enter the PM08D Power Module – the unsung hero for every discerning FPV pilot. This isn’t your garden-variety power module; it’s your flight controller’s new best friend. With the PM08D, saying goodbye to erratic power supply and hello to consistent, regulated 5.2V of power is as easy as pie. The power struggle is real, but with this module, it’s one you’re destined to win.
With a robust 200A continuous current rating, this PM08D is ready to support your high-power demands, making it the go-to choice for vehicles with a hearty appetite for power. With not one, but two 5.2V power output ports, each with independent circuits and BEC IC, it’s like having a power backup for your power backup.
The PM08D is more than just a pretty face. Housed in a sturdy aluminum case coupled with a fan, it’s ready to take the heat, quite literally. This setup not only protects the module from external whims but actively dissipates heat, ensuring that the PM08D stays cool under pressure.
Oh, and let’s not forget its compatibility with PX4 and Ardupilot (version 4.4 and later). Its I2C digital signal data output makes it a snug fit with Pixhawk 5X/6X or other FMUv5x/6x Autopilots. However, remember, it’s not ready to mingle with flight controllers that fancy analog PM like Pixhawk 6C & Mini, Pixhawk4 & Mini, pix32 v5, or Durandal flight controllers.
Please Note:
- PM08D is supported by PX4. For Ardupilot, it is supported in version 4.4 and later.
- This PM uses I2C digital signal data output and is compatible with Pixhawk 5X/6X or other FMUv5x/6x Autopilot. It is NOT compatible with flight controller that uses analog PM such as the Pixhawk 6C & Mini, Pixhawk4 & Mini, pix32 v5, or Durandal flight controllers.
