Detailed Information
The Flyfish Tony 5 is a high quality lightweight (57g) frame designed for building ultralight drones. They excel in quiet flight and long flight time. They are ideal for relaxing flight over the countryside or mid-range/long-range flying.
The frame is cut from premium T700 carbon, which has better strength than the commonly used carbon (T300). The arms are cut from 4mm thick carbon. The frame is very well made. The edges of the frame are beveled so there is no risk of cutting the cable on a sharp edge. The screws are made of durable grade 12.9 steel. The screws are pre-coated with Loctite, so the screws stay tight and do not loosen with vibration. The camera is protected by a metal bracket, made of the durable 7075 aluminum alloy commonly used on drones to make better motors. The camera has an adjustable angle of 15-60°. On the top plate, the frame has a non-slip pad that increases friction between the frame and the battery and minimizes the chance of the battery slipping out in a fall.
The frame has M3 mounting holes for 20x20mm and 25.5x25.5mm stacks. There is space for a second stack in the rear of the frame. The mounting holes are 20x20mm and 25,5x25,5mm M2. The frame can thus accommodate an analog transmission as well as a Caddx, Vista, Walksnail Avatar or DJI O3. The mounting holes for the motors are 12mm M2. Suitable engine sizes are 2004 and similar.
