Detailed Information

Speedybee Master 5 V2 is a unique frame suitable for cinematic and freestyle flying. The frame uses a deadcat layout, where the front arms are more to the rear, so that the distracting edges of the propellers are not visible in the camera. Unique is the stack mount. The stack is not mounted into the carbon, but is attached via a 3D printed insert made of TPU. This ensures that high frequency vibrations are filtered out. The TPU insert comes in two versions and two hardnesses (50A/80A) for the frame. Around the stack are plastic covers to protect the electronics from dirt. The covers contain LEDs for a unique look. The camera is protected by aluminum sidewalls. It is also mounted via a TPU liner to help absorb unwanted vibrations. On the back of the frame is a universal aluminum heat sink that helps dissipate heat from the video transmitters. The top plate is divided into two parts. The front section is designed to hold a GoPro camera and does not need to be removed if the drone needs servicing. The frame also includes a wealth of 3D printed accessories.

The frames are milled from 5mm thick carbon fiber and can accommodate motors with 16mm hole pitch. The TPU insert for the stack has M3 mounting holes with both 30.5x30.5mm and 20x20mm spacing. The rear of the frame has mounting holes with spacing 20x20/25.5x25.5/30.5x30.5mm for mounting video transmitters. Aluminum sidewalls for the camera and posts are made of durable 7075 aluminum alloy. The drone can be built with both analog and digital video transmission.
