Description

Long gone are the days of your whoop/toothpick having limited range thanks to the ELRS system built into this flight controller.Please note the ELRS firmware is still in beta, so only use this FC if you know what you are doing as we will not be able to offer any software support.

Detailed Information

The world’s first AIO 5in1 F4 flight controller with integrated SPI 2.4GHz ExpressLRS receiver has been launched. The flight controller integrates SPI controlled 2.4GHz ExpressLRS receiver, Dshot protocol 4-in-1 ESC, 5.8GHz 40ch video transmitter and Betaflight OSD. Ultra-small size and ultra-stable remote control range can improve the range of the original SPI receiver. And because the 2.4GHz ExpressLRS receiver is equipped with the SX1280 radio frequency chip with high sensitivity, high packet rate and low latency, this flight controller is the one that all Race/Freestyle pilots needed. It is suitable for use in Tiny whoop Race or Toothpick Freestyle, and can also be used in 1S ultra-lightweight Nano Long Range platform.

Please note, this board is sold a development board and we cannot offer any software support for this product. The ExpressLRS project is still in the early days,  Please only use this flight controller if you know what you are doing and are prepared to figure things out and live with beta firmware that is actively updated on a regular basis.

How to Bind

  1. Supply power to CrazyF4 ELRS flight controller (Plug the USB), wait until the RX LED is off, immediately turn off the power (Unplug the USB), and then repeat the above steps again. When the RX is powered on for the third time, the LED light will start to double-flash, which means that the RX enters into the binding mode
  2. Insert the with the ELRS TX module inserted into your OpenTX Radio transmitter, choose External RF mode to CRSF protocol, then you can find ELRS menu from the Radio system (Need to copy the ELRS.LUA file to the SD-Card tools first), Enter into ELRS and press [Bind], the RX LED on the Flight controller will getting to be solid if bind successfully.
  3. Receiver LED status meanings:
    1. LED solid means bind successful or Connection established;
    2. LED double-flash means in bind mode;
    3. LED flash slowly means no signal established with the TX module

Important: Take care to ensure the antenna does not touch any Motor solder pins (or any other exposed pins on the FC, otherwise it would burnt the ESC.
