Description
Detailed Information
This is a Bidirectional SCR Isolated HAT, Dual Channels Triac Output Control, ideal for lighting and industrial motor automation projects. This includes smart lighting, controlling motors for things such as ventilation, pump control, valve control, heating and air conditioning systems etc.. Basically anything that runs on mains A/C power, either through a switch or variable voltage/current control.
This device has some advantages over a traditional relay since is offers higher efficiency, no mechanical wear, along with quicker response and adjustable outputs.
Key Features
- STM32F0 MCU controller, requires minimal Raspberry Pi resource, UART / I2C communication
- RC snubber circuit, protect the triac from power fluctuation
- Up to 4400W output power, under ideal heat dissipation condition
- Optocoupler isolation, preventing interference from the high voltage circuit
- Indicator for easy checking the status of triac
- Reserved UART and I2C interface, for working with other host control boards
- Data rate: up to 921.6kbps for UART,up to 1024kbps for I2C
- Comes with development resources and manual (examples in C and Python)
When connecting this to your Raspberry Pi, or Jetson Nano development board (this board uses the RPI standard 40pin GPIO header), you can easily interface high voltage devices such as hosehold lighting, or industrial pumps/motors to your automation project.
STM32F0 MCU Onboard
Integrates STM32F030 MCU, Supports Directly Command Control, Easy For Developping Quicker Response, Requires Minimal Resource From The Raspberry Pi
High Data Rate, Always One Step Ahead
Up To 921.6kbps For UART,Up To 1024kbps For I2C
Powerful Output Power
Up To 4400W Output Power, Under actively cooled environments (extra fan required to ensure proper heat dissipation)
Optocoupler Isolation Safety First!
Optoisolated Solution, Preventing Interference From The High Voltage Circuit
Warning: Please never touch the high voltage circuit on this board, and always make sure you install with sufficient insulation and isolation to avoid any contact with the board while it is under power.
