Why do you need LED strobe lights on your drone?
According to the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) in the UK, strobe lights are required on drones when flying at night in order to increase visibility and safety. The use of strobe lights can help other aircraft and people on the ground to see the drone more clearly, reducing the risk of collisions. The CAA recommends that drones should be equipped with strobe lights that emit a bright, flashing white light that can be seen from at least 3 miles away. Additionally, the CAA recommends that drones should be equipped with a navigation light that emits a steady red light on the left-hand side and a steady green light on the right-hand side, to indicate the orientation of the drone and to aid in collision avoidance. By adding three Vifly strobe lights you can easily just clip them onto any drone to meet these requirements. Each unit only adds 6g extra weight to your drone.
